I’ve never pushed it, but have had at least 7 hours continuous use out of it before I shut it down with battery life remaining. It came with a trial version of Norton security, and Windows Office 2007 but those expired. It now has AVG security (free) loaded and I’ve had no problems with viruses or malware. Also an older version of office-type software... older but fully functional. No charge. It also has Google Earth, Google Chrome, Limewire. I use the netbook for travel only as I have a much easier to use desktop at home, so the netbook has seen very little use.
