Power went out late last night, did not think much of it as we seem to have the occasional brownout late at night now and then so I went to sleep. When I woke up this morning it was still out so I went walking around to find that the cut out blew at my transformer. I thought this quite odd as we do not use all that much electricity (last bill was 2,770 peso) especially late at night.

The wife called NORECO and they were out right away. Apparently a lizard found its way to the bushings of the transformer which caused the cut out to blow. The guys asked if I had a fuse link, which I didn't, so they replaced it at no cost (it is our transformer) and recommended we pick a couple up in case they don't have one on hand if it ever blows again.

We've dealt with the Tanjay NORECO folks a few times now and they have all been great guys. There are many instances of poor customer service here so it is nice to have something positive to say; truly impressed with the responsiveness and good attitude of the NORECO workers.
