image.jpeg About p308,000 of suspected shabu, a gun and a car were seized in two anti-illegal drugs operations involving two cousins in Barangay Combado, Bacong town in Negros Oriental, yesterday.

Arrested during the first operation was Ritchie Viola Tindog, alias “Etching”, while his cousin, Warren, also surnamed Tindog, who lives next door and who was the subject of the second operation, managed to evade arrest, Senior Insp. Ryan Jay Orapa, chief of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Operations Special Task Group of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said.

Orapa said a joint team of operatives from the PAIDSOTG, the Bacong police, led by its chief, Senior Insp. Rommel Luga, the Special Weapons and Tactics, and the National Bureau of Investigation served search warrant number 08-2016, issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Gerardo Paguio Jr. against Ritchie at around 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

The suspect allegedly attempted to escape on board his car, a gray Toyota Vios, with plate number XNY 957, Orapa said.

He also confirmed that shots were fired by law enforcers after the suspect allegedly fired at them. DAILY STAR: Negros Oriental
