Hi, everyone, over the years I have made several ""Goulash's" but they did not come out right because of the missing main thing, the Paprika powder, I could not find the "sweet" Paprika, like the one in Hungary, only the "Spanish Paprika". Now I found this one in Super Lee, it's a very good substitute for an unbeatable price...
Will give this a go, last time I was in Hungary we had a goulash with wild boar over a log fire outside the vineyard, best thing I think I ever eaten along with the excellent red wine!
I was there in the late 90's, traditional food was always great and the different Paprikas mind blowing, I quite liked it a lot and was toying with the idea to settle there...
It is a great country and the vineyards were awsome if you like wine, a friend who lodged with me in uk had a yard and his father made the best wine I have ever tasted and also the food was the best, cheap living also but bloody cold in winter.
