i've got a drunken crazy neighbor that gets violent on occasion and i'd like a little something to deter him if he tries to force his way into my house. i bought a can of insect spray with the straw nozzle but it only sprays about a foot, maybe it was a bad can cuz i've had insect spray cans in the past that would shoot about 10ft. how about pepper spray, can we get that in duma? thanks... norm : ))~
You can buy it for P300 near the hardware cashier in Robinsons. I take one when I walk my dog. but haven't used it. Ron
You can also buy small can next to counter or large cans in locked cabinet in handyman, (large better for drunks)! Downstairs near jolibee they sell stun guns which are good when they get too close!
Norm, sorry to hear of your situation. You mentioned the word "violent" and that is an issue to be taken seriously. Those types of aholes can come with a bolo or whatever. I assume you are not armed; therefore, I would put up a defensive position. You could use piano wire, punji sticks, a mat with nails, etc. I am sure myself and others with former training can give you a hand, if needed.
Just let him get inside the boundary of your lot or house and kick his @ss bat him with a baseball bat till he cant move. You wont be imprison...file him with trespassing your property and a frustrated murder...you can say anything to the court as long as he cross the line entering your house/lot... Good luck! I love the scene! ( Never ever fight him outside your lot/house for your protection in the future investigation)
the neighbor thanks for all the input guys. pepper spray looks to ''out of stock'' in duma tho we have some new leads. we did get a canister of tear gas at robinson's handiman for now. the guy is definitely short on grey matter and we've recently learned he has a history of neighborhood problems and the neighbors tried to have him locked up. he lives in what i first thot was a stack of bambú that was tipping over, he's since pushed it upright. his day consists of climbing the coconut tree next to our back fence 1st thing in the morning and filling his tuba jug, then he spends the day talking to his dogs and sipping on his jug. he returns to the tuba tree in the afternoon for a refill. day after day after day... he appears to be at home in the tree, talking to the spirits and singing, he even climbs in the dark. i've only seen him eat twice. why is it crazy people talk to themselves? i've seen him punch bagging a coconut tree (ouch) and machete dueling an imaginary opponent and killing him. i've watched him practice throwing rocks at trees and he has powerful and very accurate throwing arm. i'm told he got pissed at the former tenants and threw rocks about 30ft which broke the plywood skin on our back door in 3 places. about 6pm wednesday evening, we heard the crazy neighbor shouting and cutting brush. it was when something hit our roof that i looked closer, he was wildly swinging a 2ft long machete at anything in his path. he got on the path towards our gate and swung 2 or 3 times at the steel post that holds up our power line, in the corner of our lot, then he started swinging at the ornamental shrubs in the fence line. he continued towards the gate swinging at the plants in our fence line, then he turned onto the path to the neighbor just downhill from us. he stopped at the bambú post that holds up the neighbor's power line and took 3 or 4 swipes at the post and then started back towards us and stopped near the concrete block fire pit and started slowly cutting branches off of a larger bush until he and sheila, who was on the porch, made eye contact. then he went back to his property wildly swinging his bolo at whatever he could reach. we called a neighbor who came and told us the crazy guys dogs had just killed someone's goat. rumor has it the dog was killed in retaliation which could explain the outburst. our house has metal security bars on the windows and the landlord has agreed to install metal security doors, so in the event of another incident, my plan is to retreat to the house and blast him with tear gas or pepper spray if he tries to enter, then run to the neighbors. can anyone recommend security door fabricator? thanks... norm : ))~
Yeah & most guns shops sell gun's, Sounds like you need to invest in one. Or seriously think about re-locating.... Ive used CS/Pepper spray's whilst in the Military & believe me, if they are mad enough it wont stop them. If a gun is to radical , consider a Tazer.
