Grrrrrrrr :grumpy: So it is that damp time when the Flies come calling but why? the House is Clean (well as Clean as a Lived in Home)
Fairly well insulated with few gaps and things so why do they come in when it is Cooler on the Terrace ( How do they get in, are they born in the House :hmmm: They Don't Eat (Do they?) seems they just come in to annoy, I have tried no end of Remedies and am Reluctant to use Chemical Sprays as it is an Open Plan House ( Kitchen is my main Worry) so Guys and Gals, what do you all do for this Aggravating Situation? I am so fed up with hearing the Fly swatter, Wouldn't mind but they never seem to get them all. Just waiting now for the Damage report on Broken cups and stuff that no one will have Broken:rolleyes:
In Spain I used to use Fly papers but I have never seen them here and anyway they are so unsightly So what to you all do to combat this?
I considered one of those Electric things but I know who would have to clean it out :sour: :boohoo:

Are you talking about those teeny weenie minute flies that insist on flying into your eyes if you are not continually waving your hands in front of your eyes? :banghead:

I have tried spraying them with Baygon all purpose Insect Spray without success, seems the more you spray the more come to the aide of the last swarm! :o o:
I have tried clapping/swatting them to death, but they move like lightning at your slightest twitch! :punch:

I know the Flies in Outback Oz can be a pain in the behind but these are so small I normally do not see them until I blink and get one caught in my eye and ALWAYS they seem to fly into my left eye for some stupid reason!
I have thought about buying a lighter and using the can of Baygon like a Flame Thrower to see if that will eradicate the basturd things!
10/10 for ANNOYING that is for sure mate! :wtf:

We have tried the sticky sheets and the electronic zappers and both a waste of time. Now resorted to one of them electronic tennis racket things!
It works and give you some exercise trying to swat them.

The electric swatters work, might just stun the bigger ones and they require finishing.

I wonder if the boric acid and sugar people use for ants would work?

Hmmmmm it is the swatting that worries me, they miss the flies and knock things over, Crisky knows what damage they will do with a bat.
Think I will Order on of those things you get in Catering Kitchens seen one with a pull out tray that you empty every now and then.
Pity I don't fish as I had a Friend in Spain that used dead fly's as bait :wideyed:

We have given most things a try but as the Puppies eat breakfast in the House, I worry about anything that they may ingest :frown:
