 I have been trying to locate a decent Plant Hire Company! seems we may have another business opportunity for some one with cash to inject, However, I will need JCB some time maybe in the next 2/3 months. Does anyone know of maybe an Owner/Driver for Hire. Seems there is not what I am looking for in Dgte.

    Assuming!

:o Oops Sorry U.USA & Sm, I was not thinking, I thought, wrongly, that these were universal words for every day Items.
A JCB, is a mechanical digger (maybe you saw the one digging the road up outside the old Cangs) They come in various sizes and it is a mid range one I require.
A Plant Hire Company, is where you would normally hire them from, PLANT! is a term used in the Building trade for tools and machinery.
Sorry if I used terms not known to any members, I will be more exact in the future, I should have known better really, Sorry Guys!

KTM, Thank you for the Locations, I will get Azon to follow up the leads, As I am not there just now, I could not find anything on line. I am no too sure if she understood totaly either, Seems Jack made a BIG BOO BOO on this one

Jack, what are you going to be digging up? I can check with my builder, I'm sure he can provide some info and I can check out the JCB availability. When would you need it?
JCB, Plant Hire Company, did a lot of scratching with those terms, must be an UK usage.

Philip is going to go back to base with the lot, only 4/5 days work if he uses a machine. Then make the elevation. Odd you know, I thought that a JCB was known all over the world, Of course Asia have many makes as the are normally built by car makers. JCB is English but are seen just about every where. Plant Hire was something that I thought was universal. Just what are Companies that hire out equipment called in the US then? I believe Stanley Hires his, so maybe he will have a contact number. Having said that he may have a mini one, bet his rates will be Sky High  I am not sure when I need it, I will keep you posted.

Jack, last time I was over in Dumaguete (12 months ago) I noticed JCB'S
for hire on the south highway near the Black Pearl, same side.
    good luck with your house.

Hi Jack. In the U.S. people usually call them backhoes and we get them from equipment rental companies.
