Hello, Thinking ahead, whether I go to Dumaguete by air or by bus, it might be better for me to ship a box to Dumaguete rather than carry the stuff around in extra luggage bags. I wonder if anyone has had any direct experience with domestic shippers? John
We have had quite a bit of experience with LBC. Not cheap but they are reliable. You can get a pretty close quote from their website. LBC Express Larry Larry
I've been sending packages thru LBC and they are reliable.. I haven't have any problem with them yet. Lately I've been using JRS express because they are cheaper..
I used Victory Cargo , shipping about 40 boxes two years ago. They are located in Buena Park, but would pick up or you can drop at a lot of Filipino Restaurant in the area. The costs was about $50 a normal Balikbayan box size, which including deliver to an address in Dumaguete (I put pictures of the house on the box since there are not street addresses). They would ship one container a week of boxes. Most times it took about 6 weeks for the box to arrive. The phone number is 1-977-458-8821. There were two brothers in business, one located in Buena Park, California and the other in Manila. They had a warehouse in Manila to hold things for me also at no extra charge. Good luck.
