I have 2 pups for sale out of Dusty's litter although they are 75% Rottie and 25% Bullmastiff, they both look exactly like purebred Rotts. One is Female at P6,000 the other is Male, at P8,000. They will be 6 weeks old tomorrow and will be ready for pickup next saturday when they are 7 weeks old. They have been wormed every 2 weeks since birth and will have their fist shots on monday, 6-4-12. I mentioned these to my wife and said this is the type of dog I want when we have the room for one. She asked why, and I said because if someone unwelcomed comes over the fence they won't get bit, they will get eaten! :D
So true, so true. But, if my suspisions are correct, these should be easy to train to just hold them down while you get a fire started.:D
I must make a correction to my original post. The vet did not want to give their 5 in 1 first. He thought it more important that they get the parvovirus vaccine first. The will be due for their 5 in 1 and a stronger de-wormer on June 25.
Sorry, I seem to have misunderstood something here. What was the mother? A Rottweiler or a Bull Mastiff? Likewise the Father? If you have a 75% Rottie/25% Bull Mastiff, then both the parents can't have been pure, or am I missing something? For me, (and call me traditional if you like), but if you have a pure a Rott mother/father and a pure Bull Mastiff father/mother, then offspring must be 50-50, no? Colouring doesn't matter, neither does size, nor temperament at such a young age. All one does know for sure is: - if they do come from such a set of large dog parents, the one who buys either of the remaining pups, better know how to look after them properly, including decent food, regular exercise etc etc. A dog's a commitment for it's and/or your life, not just a status symbol. (Owner of 3 pure bred, happy Rott's.)

First, the add said "that they look like pure bred Rottweiler. Now if one of the dog is pure Rottweiler and the other is half Bull Mastiff and half Rottweiler than the pups will be "75-25" and the pups undoubtedly would look like Rottweilers. Hope this clears it up for you. Undoubtedly, live is getting tougher for you.
Well thanks for that clarification, genetic engineering wasn't what I graduated from university in, however, I do agree that the ad does say that 'they look like', still, in my opinion, for the price being charged seems a little high. To answer your last statement, 'Undoubtedly, live is getting tougher for you', (I presume you mean 'life'?), actually no, it's getting easier, as the longer I live here, the more stupidity and petty mindedness I see from the locals & the newer arrivals.
