I have 5 Luxfer 80/95 cu ft. Aluminum scuba tanks that I brought over here that I'd now like to sell. They are brand new and have never been used. Just filled with air here in Dumaguete last week. Their part number is: TNA80/95BR/VLV and are rated at 3300 LBS or 240 BAR. Approved for NITROX. These are selling locally for $300/. I need $250/.

    Couldn't find it.

Roody, Thanks for all your help. Maybe because you work at Adventure Dive shop you're able to get better deals that the general public. I contacted Ivy at the Dive wholesaler in Cebu you that told me about. She told me the price was indeed $161 but that was only the case if I bought 20 tanks minimum. The price per tank at retail would be much higher for just a few. Even then it would be a problem at this time because there are 0 in inventory. Also, there was no free shipping (at least not to the public). I will forward you her email.

Nah, it has nothing to do with Adventure dive-shop, I work for everybody who pays me, I am a kind of diving-bit@%.

Mike just gives me the prices I get at Asia-Divers anyway. The prices I mentioned are the listed w/sale and retail prices from the 2008 AD-pricelist, I got that early April this year I think.
I understand that they "run out of tanks" as I guess one of the mails (like I forwarded you) and all are sold in a week...

Another example, look at the Cressi wetsuits and the price and try to find any equal quality-products for just around that price, NO WAY ! and if you want high quality, you go for a Waterproof-wetsuit.

The only thing what Pixx me off is that they can't get me a black/black Matrix (one of the only masks witch fits on my funny face AND provides low volume and unreal good view)

Just asking for some info Rhoody. These tanks are 80 cubic feet. According to my calculator that is 2265 liters. And since this seems to be equivalent to the European standard 232 bar. This seems to be as a standard single 10 liter tanks.Washed and made ready for Nitrox.
    Am I right????
I am not used to the yankee measuring system.:(

your calculation is right, they are 11.4 liter tanks.
usulally the diveshops call them 12l tanks.

The filling-stations here fill them with slightly over 200 bar.
At Atlantis we filled them with 210 bar, that our math-perfect european customer don't complain, hehe. with 210bar you have exactly 2400 liter (same like a "real" 12l with 200 bar)

Math perfect European customer.  :D

Well my standard 2 x 10 litre Scubapro (4000+litres) from 1977 always are filled to 240 bar. (more than 3000 times until now) and still going strong.:p :D Cooling down to 215 bar before dive.

You Rhoody shoud know(german) that we want what we have paid for.:D

    11,4 litres? Isn't that tanks for females.:o :D
Without brain activity. They say that the brain require 1/5 of the O2 consume.:D

    bad boy.... hehe...
...and I always wondered why they need less air and come back to the surface with 20% more air left than all the male diving partners...

Well, you should not quote me for females without brain:D . Even though that "specie" is around, it don't call for all.
But small 12 liter tanks only is used by females here.
    and mainly in 300 bar.
