I'm looking to ship a few things from Minneapolis MN to Dumaguete and wondering if anyone knows a carrier and what methods work best. Far as what size the biggest items are a full ATX tower and a 24" computer monitor along with lots of original dvds and such. I'm unsure of a Balikbanyan box fitting the monitor as well. Main problem is finding a place that ships out of Minneapolis / St Paul Minnesota (USA). Thanks
Balikbayan boxes will be by far the cheapest way to go. I found this using Google. I don't know anything about them, but give them a call. Hopefully this info is current and accurate! Minneapolis Manila Forwarders MidWest, LLC 342 Fee Fee Rd, St Louis, MO 63043 1.800.951.6415
Why not just google balikbayan shippers Miniapple????? You should be able to find a few and they would answer your questions..Miguel
I'll check that one on Monday Knowdafish, thanks. I've tried calling a few I found through yahoo search and google before to find they no longer have that branch of service, number disconnected, or size drop off location issues. Fedex quotes around $750-800 while UPS needs new hamsters as their servers keep failing to give any estimate on a quote. Don't mind spending $200-300 but definately not worth $800 bucks so fedex can screw off.
In the past, when living in remote areas of the US, I have shipped via UPS to Denver and California based forex shippers, and they forwarded the package to the Phils. Forexworld.com Larry
I used UMAC Express Cargo, to ship from Tampa Bay Fl. area to Quezon City PI. I was fairly satisfied with the price and service. Check UMAC Express Cargo
