Has anyone on the DI forum evaluated St, Louis Don Bosco and Catherina Cittidini and selected one or the other? They are side-by-side in the same complex and appear to have similar curriculums. One run by priests and the others by nuns, with lay teachers.
Pat, Trisha went to Cittidini for 4 years and we found it good but it got expensive. They are Actual co schools which is why the curriculum looks the same. They have a very good pass rate in Maths and Computer Sciences in higher Education Exams. Trisha was going to Go back their but her pass rate was good at West City and made the Science High which to me is Equal but Public. I can Recommend both but would favor Cittidini from a Personal point of View. Don Bosco was the boys School and Cittidini was the Girls hence the Nun Priest thing but now apparently it is Mixed and it is then a Parents choice subject to availability. To me Pat, if you are thinking of sending Kennedy there, I feel you are making a good Choice. Just as a Side, our 10 year old nephew is No 1 maths junior in Negros and No 3 National. He is a Cittidini boy. His elder brother was a Don Bosco boy and won a Computer Scholarship to Silliman Testimonial enough I think about the output. if Azon can be of any other Information just Shout Jack
Pat as a further testimonial, part of the Thread Dustin put up I missed at first this bit For their parents, sending three children to St. Louis School-Don Bosco for high school, and then to St. Paul College Dumaguete for Nursing could have only spelled b-r-o-k-e. (The eldest's schooling was courtesy of their father's sibling.) DAILY STAR: Negros Oriental seems good things can come out of Don Bosco JP
