Could anyone recommend a secure storage facility in or near Dumaguete where balikbayan boxes could be received and stored until I finally move there next Spring. I would like to send clothing and household goods in anticipation of "setting up housekeeping" there in Dumaguete and would prefer to ship personal goods now, rather than to deal with them as a luggage issue when in transit. Your input is appreciated, thanks!
Hi KDF, thanks for the reply---probably no more than three or four BB boxes. The rest of my "stuff" will go in storage State-side until I find out what i actually need there.
I have an old calling card from 2007. I met a guy called William at the sunday breakfast buffet at why not back than, so I do not know if the info is current, but maybe worth to try it out: William`s Self Storage Cell No.: 09196424016 Tessie: 09196195492 Email: cornpatch2000atyahoo.com
William (I used to call him Will I Am) is back in the USA, though maybe his renter is handling storage requests. How soon do you need to ship? If I could send some things to your address and have you fill one more box for me, you could store your boxes at my place. We have lots of room, and your things would be inside the house, where William's is out in his extra garage space. I'd pay back the shipping on my box of course
A friend of mine who recently arrived had shipped something like 30 boxes from Calif, and wonders why he went to all the trouble.
