If you avoid prepackaged foods (or learn to decipher the nutritional labels) I don't think this should be much of a concern. I eat ~60 grams of sugar per day while my food tracking app recommends 81 (I eat around 2500-3000 calories per day). Finding a good source on exactly how much sugar one should intake is difficult as most of the articles I find are talking about added sugars. Coke Zero is readily available here. I rarely have an issue at restaurants or bars that I frequent. You can forget about it at most local eateries (the ones that serve Coke in glass bottles) but it can be easily found in any decent restaurant, bar or convenience /grocery store.
