About to do a visa run to Macau and will use this trip to purchase a new tablet... looking for a grey market area and would appreciate any info on where this would be... have 10 hours or so can make it to Hong Kong if I have to ... thanks

Macau has far less places than HK! Fortress would probably be the cheapest place and with a great selection if you are looking for a wellknown brand and global warranties. There are plenty of extremely cheap Chinese knock-off brands, neither the fastest nor most rugged seals. Warranties within HK only. There are many shops around in Wai Chai (probably best selections), Mong Kok, and Shamshuipo where you can buy those, kind of electronic shopping centers.
Nearly all the big Macau casino resorts have phone / electronics stores amongst the multitude of designer shops attached to them. Don't expect the cheapest prices, but you'll have more time to gamble and it'll save you the cost of the ferry to HK and back.
