I have been calling both the land line numbers at the Cebu Immigration Office and his cel number for several days and have not been able to get an answer. Not too worried about the cel but we can't get an answer at the Cebu Immigration office either. Just wondering if anyone is dealing with the Atty from the Cebu office here and if so what numbe you are using to reach him. I am going to keep trying to reach the office number. I would like to avoid the trip to Cebu but if I can't reach them soon I will have no choice but to go. Thanks

I did finally reach the Cebu office last week. I also found out that Atty Abellon is out of country and due back tomorrow. His assistant informed me that my permanent 13a Visa is approved so I just need to finish up the Implementation and I-card update. I was just concerned since I was coming up on the expiration of my temp 13a Visa next month and was a little freaked. No worries. I have not found Atty Abellon to be any difficulty.
I also had no problems with Atty. Abellon. I have had my Permanent Resident 13A for a while now. Actually I found him to have a great sense of humor. I even asked him if I "had to wait 5 years" to see him again. He laughed and said no, drop by my house anytime on the week-ends and proceeded to tell us where his house is. He's not far from us maybe 25 minutes at most. I think some people go into this with an attitude and or chip on your shoulder. My guess and opinion is that you are perhaps your own worse enemy. It's your choice.
