(1st sentence explanation/rant sorta off topic) Since Honda engineers took the day off when designing the lighting system for the XR150L it is manufactured with AC power. You know, the lights that are nearly off they are so dim at idle then brighten when you rev the engine - idiots.... I am going to rewire my motorcycle lighting system for AC to DC (then replace the bulbs with LEDs) and need some parts. I know this will come as a shock but I am having a problem finding what I need (relay, 5 way splitter, 12ga wire, crimp wire connectors, bullet wire connectors...). Wala at Raddi, Hardware store across from the bus station, Handyman, Polaris. Before I start the PAINFUL task of hitting small shops, standing at the counter hoping they go in the back and find what I want, does anyone know where they have proper display shelves where I can look myself for what I need/stumble across suitable substitutes? Yes, I know you all been waiting for me to once again say... Please tell me where to go!
I'm moving in next week on Wednesday to Bacong. I have plenty of two sizes of Scotch Locks if you want to use them. I also have a ton of a few different types of LED lights of all colors. I have a few different styles of bolt on LED turn signals also. I'm going to the lighting place I use in Colon, Cebu City first part of next week if you want me to pick up some stuff for you like headlight, tail light, wire (I have some), etc. PM me if you are interested. I have some test stuff and soldering iron too.
oh, the stuff I need is basic vehicle electrical parts, doesn't have to be a motorcycle shop, automotive or trucks use the same stuff. Nothing high tech, the newest item was probably introduced in the 70s (or earlier). I need 12 gauge wire, 10 feet is probably plenty so 5 meters lol a relay some crimp connectors some bullet connectors and 2, 5-way splitters if I could find an exterior double USB plug that would be awesome also.
