The UK "Red Nose Day is this Friday also known as Comic Relief
So this has had me thinking about how many other Charitable Organisations are there in the UK and around the world. The answer to my surprise was over 10 million!
Obviously Charity's sometimes run out of funds from time to time and especially when people, due to inflation and high costs of living, cannot offer charitable amounts, for the benefit of less fortunate people.

The War in Iran has so far cost the USA $1 billion per day, Israel's economy, acording to Reuters; believe it or not, is at a cost on average of $3 billion per week!

Russia's financial costs according to source estimate so far over four years at$1 trillion, since it's invasion of Ukraine. figures showing $500m-$1billion per day, that is as of December 2024, (not being able to find the lastest figutres)
European Countries have provided 132 billion Euro's to Ukraine
The USA have provided 114 billion Euro's to Ukraine, and both rising

Having the Compassion to donate, not just to victims of war, but also to all the other worthy causes throughout the world, where disaster's have stuck in one form or another is the Charitable thing to do, but I'm sure the hundred of thousands of people whose hearts go out to others, must find the cost of war disgusting, when asked via TV advertising, to help those caught up in a man made Wars.
THE HUMAN COST OF WHICH CAN NEVER BE EVALUATED
