:pompus: Strange heading in the building Forum NAH! this could happen to anyone that doesn't think before Buying.
A Friend of Ours ( The Wife works with Azon) who is an Engineer ( Building/ Geophysical) came over Last Night for a couple of Beers, Now I have not see them for some time and they have moved into there own House at Northville (Sibulan) he was telling me that They have only been in the House some 8 months or so and the Septic needs Emptying already, I am not sure but from memory it is about 2 to 2500 peso per empty based on a Thread last year but who knows now. So he was saying that it really will need Emptying 2 or 3 times a year as the Kids get Bigger and with Summers to contend with. A Cost he had not really Considered in his Budgeting.
This Morning I find out that in a 2 bedroom House, they're Mom and Dad 3 Kids, a Maid and a Ya Ya. all living In. No wonder it is Full to Overflowing. We have the main Septic and 2 water tanks one at the Front and one at the back for other water not going to the Septic. Showing me his Plans, I see Nowhere for him to Build any other drain Tanks.
Silly is as Silly does comes to mind.

Not sure but I think that the first empty is free, and you pay after that, but I could be wrong.

That price for pumping out a septic tank in the Philippines is Dirt Cheap!

The cost for pumping out my septic tank in Florida was $350

Based on that Yes I would Agree but when you have not made Provision for it and on the Salaries here 2000 is a lot of Dosh to them even if the First one is Free, On the Time and people Concerned I guess it will be an expensive Lesson. lets see what happens over the next 6 months

We have ours pumped once a year, the first time you have it done you need to go to the water district to pay and to give them a map. After they know you and on the system you can just call them up,tell them which tanker you need (large/small) and they are pretty efficient.
We pay the guys p2,400 but they have to drive to bacong and that for two trips as we have large tanks here. The closer you are to Duma the cheaper it is and like mentioned before of you live in the city the first empty is free.
