    I just introduced myself in this forum some hours ago. We will soon settle down in Dumaguete. Although we know the city quite well, may I ask if the Swiss restaurant WhyNot is still popular among expats ?

    Cannot confirm that. Outside, yes, all the foreigners, but inside to my surprise many filipino people, families with children, mixed groups, attorneys, local government people, Dumaguete upper class - eating cheese platters, cold cuts, schnitzel - seems Why Not is also popular among the locals also.

    I most certainly can confirm that 80% or more are filipino families dining inside, I am there with my family at least once a week because of the consistently great food.
