In the U.S. there is a saying, "winner winner chicken dinner". It is thought to be created in early Las Vegas when if you won a standard $2 bet, you could buy a chicken dinner which was $2 at that time. My father-in-law brought home a killed chicken from a neighborhood cock fight he said he won. As they were cooking it I gave them the "winner winner chicken dinner" saying and a beer for winning. They got a kick out of that and I got the real meaning for the saying. lol.
