    My last post for tonight..:-):-)

For sure you guys know what is an ATM!
Everytime i withdraw in ATM, and i see there is line, i know i will wait for ten to 15 minutes.
In the line i am saying is around two to three people..
I am just wondering what other people do there that it takes them long to be finished!
Because when i do it i guess its not even one minute..

    Do you guys know why?

Peace everyone. Have a nice evening..
(Alles gute fur alles..) means All the best for all!:-)

Well, they have 6 cards all tied to accounts that have nothing in them, but they have to check and recheck all of them anyway, just in case some money magically showed up in one of them!

One's in front of me, usually can't read 'insufficient funds', or if they can, they don't understand what it means.

Most of the times they'll keep jacking a non-productive card in and out of the machine until the machine shuts down in the face of security concerns.
Than the same person will take that same card to the next machine and start the same non-productive process until that machine shuts down too.

A big indicator that your at the wrong machine is when you see 2 or 3 advisers that accompany the cardholder and are assisting them in the ATM withdrawal process.

They have keys in braille for blind people that can make a transaction faster...maybe Visayan buttons next?

I did monitor the time it takes me to get the required amount from the ATM; less than 45 seconds. I think all those locals don't have a pc @ home and think you can also play video games on an ATM and only find out after many, many minutes it does not offer that facility.

Time is worthless, unless you get a chance to cut in line.

You have to remember that time is worthless here, particularly your time. That is why if the bank ATM users completes a transaction, they slowing review everything while standing in front of the ATM, so those in line can wait getting a long look at their backside. Too band there are not more sexy backsides worthy of wasting time looking at. :D

The funny part of the culture is that if time is worthless, why does everyone try to cut in line to save a little time here? Is it the time they are after or just a face saving action to prove their worth?

As a general rule, I've observed that most Filipinos who actually wear watches, (that work or have wall clocks with reasonably new batteries in), show time that's 10-15 minutes advanced, if this is the case throughout the country, why are they all (99% at least), continually late?

Hey guys its about why some people takes long time before they finished and nothing more.
When they know that there is for sure no money in there it should be faster..
Im not in a hurry when i am in the line, its just im wondering why..thats all in the end, just wait.
Some old people i can understand that maybe they cant read it very well so they have to make
sure that they doing the right thing but wiht the young one, especially girls who are high hills,
good looking and well dressed with lots of make up, looks smart but dont know how ATM works..
In the end, Robinson ATM is the best place to withdraw, not so much people go there esp. in the
    morning..

I agree, one of the shortest lines is the ATM next to Bo's coffee in the back of Robinsons. Another good choice is the metro bank on Real street just north of the Market. The nice thing about that one is you have a shaded carport out front to stand in incase there happens to be a line.. What I hate most about the ATM's is the 200 or so Peso charge for Using another banks ATM card, and to make matters worse the Max you can with draw at one time is 10,000, so if You need 20,000 you get nailed for another 200 peso withdrawal fee....cheers
