Horizon, Not sure how true this is but I was told you can only get an SSS number when you have a firm Job Offer, a visit on line or a personal visit to the SSS office opposite the old Edelweiss Bar will tell you. In any event, if it is a proper job then yes you will need an SSS number.

Best of luck mate hope things are on the Turn for you , bin a bit of a bad year for you so far

    JP:thumbsup:

When I worked out of Makati, my company obtained a work permit visa for me. When I retired I had to apply for my own visa. To obtain the work visa, I had to show proof of my college degree.

Work Visas are not cheap. Finding an employer willing to hire you and sponsor your visa is going to be pretty difficult to find.

I think the situation is a bit more complex than that. My opinions might be leaning on personal side so I will keep it to myself as I don't want to air anyone's dirty laundry on the open forum. I think the situation going on here might be best discussed through PM. If horizon would like to take this private he can send a PM to me and I can add other members to the conversation who might be able to help/advise.
