Subida Vacation Home Rentals is a self-catering accommodation that is an alternative to hotels for long term guests. Subida features Filipino native huts and duplex rooms in a gated compound surrounded by fruit trees in the foothills of Valencia, Negros Oriental.
Located just 8km from Dumaguete City, guests will be welcomed by our warm staff to give you a tour of our various environmentally friendly amenities inside our 7,700 sq.m. compound that is mostly powered by an on-grid 24KW Solar Power System.
You can refresh in our naturally chlorinated pool, get a backrub with our electronic massage chair, have fun with your partner, fellow guests or even our staff in playing Pinoy billiards, darts, air hockey, foosball, table tennis or basketball at our entertainment center. You can also grab a beer in our reasonably priced “trust-based” refrigerator to relax and watch some TV. Guests cook their own meals in our state of the art kitchen that is fit for any chef to make a gourmet meal; they also can always ask for assistance from our kitchen staff. Guests will be provided storage spaces where they can stock their groceries and produce.
We can also provide breakfast for guests at P120 per plate.
A mix of any of the following Toast, Butter, Fruits in season, Hash Browns, Fries, Eggs, Cheese, Tomato, Coffee, Tea or Fruit Juice.
We have spacious parking slots in the compound. Public jeepney ply the Valencia-Dumaguete route regularly. Do not hesitate to flag any of our staff who are going down to town to hitch a ride.
We also have a “suki” tricycle driver that you can text or call to bring you to Dumaguete or anywhere within Valencia and nearby towns. There is also a car rental service 15 minutes away.
There are numerous recreational activities (paid and free) to experience just a few minutes from the property.
We have two houses in the compound resided by visual artists and sculptors. Elle is a visual artist, a yogi and healer. Her partner Raz is a Filipino visual and performance artist. The manager’s wife who resides in another house in the compound is a painter and mixed-media artist as well. Another house is occupied by Larry, a friendly US Marine veteran and a good friend of the owner. He lives with his warm and friendly wife Jam. The compound also houses a large format printshop and a souvenir shop.
There will be instances where the owners who also have a house in the compound will stay for the night and bring some guests and friends. Please just feel at home with them.
We have pet dogs and rabbits in the compound.
