Philippines is one of the best summer capitals in the world.  Summer in the Philippines is often a choice between a trip to the beach or to the mountains. In a tropical country characterized by endless coastlines, the beach is relatively an easy pick. Indeed, summer just pass by. But still most of us are dreaming of white sand beach, or pine trees and cold climate. In our busy life, we all need a vacation.We need to relax and unwind, we need to have time to release our stress load for a busy schedule in school and work, to appreciate more the nature and most especially, Philippines, the beautiful place where we, Filipinos proudly can say, It’s More Fun in The Philippines. But to relate to this topic about summer, I would like to share with you my thoughts about summer season in the Philippines. This warmest season of the year is also the most anticipated season for everyone. School-age kids, especially, always look forward to summer vacation. It is the best time of the year to bond with family and loved ones by spending more time outdoors.

There are a lot of famous summer destinations throughout the country that are frequently visited by local and foreign tourists which one can choose from. Yes, the Philippines offer a widely extensive list of things to do, making it the perfect summer destination for families, colleagues and friends alike.

Having said that, summer can still be fun as there are awesome ways for us to beat and survive the summer heat. The Philippines, with its 7,107 islands, its rain-forests and extensive coastlines, and its diverse cultures, has many interesting places to go to and explore, especially this summer. Revisiting its beautiful islands, world-renowned beaches, and historic places is something that we always look forward to during summer. Summer activities like going to the beach, camping, and having a picnic are exciting. Summer sports such as volleyball, wake boarding, water skiing, scuba diving, and swimming can be as well refreshing. Traveling and vacationing, which traditionally peak during summer, are the best options for those who have the budget and want to spend more time with their loved ones.
