Blatz was from Wisconsin. Schlitz first built in the US, I think, in North Carolina and then Memphis, Tennessee. Sorry, kelpguy, am I misunderstanding something? As far as I know, Schlitz beer was not related to Blatz beer. Shlitz closed in 1982 but was selling 150 million barrels a year. As I say, Blatz was not related as far as I know. They were sold to Pabst Blue Ribbon, and now the label is owned by Miller. I don't know if they still make Blatz or not. I'm from Memphis and had friends that worked at Schlitz.
