Unfortunately Bart left many debts and Ritchel (his wife) is finding it very difficult indeed to come up with the money for the funeral.
There will be a very simple viewing at the Garden of Saint's funeral home in West Rovira Drive tomorrow (Thursday the 23rd of April, 2015) from around noon for about 24 hours.
    (Garden of Saints - About - Google+

This will be followed by a cremation the following day.

If Bart owed you money, please give Ritchel some time before asking about it. She's hoping to rush sell a lot to pay off the funeral, bank loans, mortgages, rent arrears and personal debts.
Also please don't ask her to relive this horrific event by asking about how it happened, ask someone else.
Any donations at the viewing will of course be greatly appreciated.

A very good place to purchase bacon, ham, sausages and smoked Dorado or Salmon is Kingswicks.

Very good quality for reasonable rates.

If you enter the Kingswicks hotel just take the elevator to the 4th floor. Next to the bar is a huge freezer containing everything you are looking for.

By the way, it's a good place for breakfast, lunch or dinner as well. We always stop there on our way home when we went for shopping at Hyper market.

The beach is supposed to passable for everyone.
If you have a beachfront lot you can apply to the DENR for a foreshore lease. The lease prevents outside people from hanging out and having a picnic on that bit of sand.

People have started buying their own swab test kits so they can monitor their households. They don’t want to get the DOH nor the LGU involved because if they turn out to be positive, they don’t want to be taken away to some dodgy quarantine facility or spend a lot of money doing their quarantine at some accredited hotel when most are just asymptomatic and they can just quarantine at home and isolate themselves in one room. So they buy these antigen kits to see if they’re reactive. If they are and exhibiting symptoms, that’s when they inform the LGU and they get swabbed with the RT PCR to validate their antigen results.

I’m not selling the kits, but if any of you need them, a shop is selling them on Facebook. Yana Dumaguete. I recommend the brand Abbott for the nasal antigen. It’s the most accurate out of them all.

I don't think it is something to be all that worried about. I've been the one in the uniform checking the IDs before. Most of them want to be there about as much as you want them to be there and they want things to go as smoothly and quickly as you do.

I had a “mini” stroke before my big one and ignored it. I also ignored taking a cold drink from the fridge and telling my wife the fridge was broke when the drink felt warm. Can’t ignore the warning signs my friend.

This is the most pertinent information I can find for travel to/from Manila
    http://dumaguetecity.gov.ph/2020/09/07/dumaguete-airport-only-allows-4-sweeper-flights-a-week/

The article does not mention any required documents to leave Dumaguete on a flight to Manila, and also the Cebu Pacific website doesn't mention any required documentation (they do have requirements about wearing mask/faceshield en advice for checking in
    https://www.cebupacificair.com/Pages/travel-with-peace-of-mind ).

However, for your return trip from Manila, Dumaguete has requirements,
    quote
The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases again reminds that every person whose ultimate destination is Dumaguete City must comply with the requirements before purchasing a plane ticket to include:
    1. Medical Clearance Certificate issued by the City/Municipal Health Office of the place of origin
    2. Travel Authority issued by the JTF CV Shield (PNP)
    3. Negative RT-PCR test result (Valid 72 hours after test result release date)
    4. Certificate of Acceptance from the City of Dumaguete
    5. And to undergo 14-day quarantine upon arrival in a facility designated for the purpose.
    /unquote

It would seem smart to get item 4. even before traveling to Manila. If you can only apply for 4. after having 1, 2 and 3, then I would count on an extended stay in Manila

Azoa almost cost me my life, and the damage from his advice I'll likely live with for the balance of my life. The only thing he got right was I should go back to the U.S. for treatment. But he did not prepare me for 37 plus hours of travel, plus about 10 days before I could leave. By the time I got to the U.S. hospital they said just another 3-5 hours more and the y would have just toe tagged me to the morgue. All that idiot so called doctor had to do was put a leg catheter on me. I had 6 things wrong with me instead of one thing by the time I got to the U.S. hospital anyone of which could have killed me. I have been in and out of VA hospitals and clinics for over a year now with no end in sight. Stay away from that clown Azoa.

Taiwan has done very well by accounts I have read.

    Everyone wore masks,
    Everyone social distanced,
    Everyone washed their hands frequently.

Apparently they did not shutdown their economy.
The keyword above seems to be Everyone.

edit: I believe they had a good system for contact tracing.

We have built or are starting to build 3 homes in Bacong. The builder was responsible to obtain the permits, with us providing “all” the proper paperwork. Takes 4-6 weeks. Just received a new permit two weeks ago.
