You can rent a room (boarding house) with x4 roommates for around P800 per month, you can get a furnished room with utilities paid for about P2k per month. If you are a normal person without any mental issues you would be far happier renting a room for yourself if the budget is tight. But if it is that tight you really shouldn't be moving to a country with absolutely zero social safety nets. A completely routine and treatable health issue can quickly become deadly if you lack the finances to pay the hospital.
You cannot work here on a tourist visa. It really sounds like you moving here would, in your current financial situation, be a horrible idea.

Homes, health insurance (in the US), cars, education, pretty much everything has gotten more expensive while salaries have stayed stagnant.

My step son was tested on arrival in Manila and quarantined in a hotel until the results were known.
Then he travelled to Dumagete for two weeks of quarantine.
Unfortunately (?) his result in Dumagete was positive so he was sent to NOPH for isolation. After a week his next test was negative. He is now taking voluntary isolation at a hotel for two weeks to allay the fears of some family members.-

Then Shopee returned the original 400 pesos. So who lost? The seller? NO - she got her 'thing' sent back for free. Shopee? Maybe a little in admin costs - but it is THEIR business and that is part of it. My asawa? YES - she was 199 pesos out of pocket for zero benefit.
So, I agree, Shopee is far from perfect and their return system is hopeless. If that was Amazon they would have paid to get the item returned.
From then on every item from Shopee was checked at the gate and returned to the courier immediately if incorrect or damaged. It was essential to do this. My asawa just updated me that she was told by a courier Shopee no longer allows this and the buyer must be the one to return it via a courier service.
I told her I think this now makes Shopee nonviable for online ordering. They are penalising the customer but not the sellers.-

- Thread: Adopted an Abandoned Dog

Dog groomers may be a different proposition, especially if they come to your home. They will not likely have many veterinary skills but can be great at dog handling.
Dogs can dislike being bathed unless used to it from the puppy stage. I advise you very strongly to show huge caution as the dog may strike out and you will then have to receive rabies vaccines (and perhaps medical attention for injuries). But with patience you may succeed. She will not like it, but I would put a muzzle on her (if you can, without being bitten) if you do try to attempt any body contact.
The scratching could be fleas or may be mange - there are treatments available. These can be purchased from an agrivet store - no need to see a vet and this can be mixed with the food. My wife had success using this on an askal puppy we adopted within a period of about one month.
You may also find (I am assuming here) that feeding a very favourite food (found by trial and error - chicken may be good) may make her more approachable (but I repeat my warning about the risk to yourself, especially if you are not familiar with dogs). Dogs can be fine but in new situations they get scared and stressed - great what you are doing but just be cautious.-

- Thread: Hard motorcycle seat

Had my seat restuffed with thicker and better foam, as well as covered with a handstitched leather at Requina's Upholstery, slightly opposite of Cang's on North Highway. Their Facebook page.
Was all done within seven hours and costs were about 1,500 one year ago.-

your biggest problem is going to be charging it, a few days of brownout, will take care of all that. Having lived in China for 10 years, I can assure you, you will have grief with it, all parts will have to be sourced from China, and thats when they will screw you, the Chassis and engine will have sub par parts, it will be nothing but a nightmare
