It is sad, but my daughter was shamed in front of her entire 6th grade class about her weight, by her teacher (at SHS)!! She said to her "you need to reduce" in front of her classmates (my daughter is Fil/Am and her body shape was much different, and more developed, than her filipina classmates were . My daughter was extremely hurt by this from a teacher who should have been there to protect her from such comments. Needless to say, we had a big meeting with her teacher and the principal which resulted in the teacher crying and apologizing, and we also insisted she make a public apology in front of the class, which she did. I am glad that, perhaps, there might be something put into place to protect those who are belittled or taunted based on their looks or appearances.

I have never been to a Starbucks and not about to start now. I don't need a $5.00 cup of coffee.

All the choice we make in life have consequences, some of them are out of our hands, the world is not and will never be fair. Health care is one of the biggest issues when you live in the Philippines IMHO. Every single person makes its own choice, I have 2 times had an accident on a bike, broken shoulder and broken hips and other injuries. Hospitals here are like Monthy python show, sir we need to inform you that we not sure you wake up again after operation lol. Me, how big is the risk? The doctor says just relax only like 50% lol. My choice to live here, of course, I want go to Cebu or Manila and have the operation, but with broken hips and heavy pain, not easy to find out how to go there. My choice to live here, need to accept the circumstances in the 3. world or stay home

Same problem here....the wife says they keep the dogs as an alarm system for people trying to steal their "game birds". I asked why does the "alarm" have to go off all the time when no one is trying to steal their obnoxious "game birds"? The treatment/living conditions of most dogs by locals is borderline criminal.

Would the 76 hours be from admission to discharge or from admission to settling your account. The reason I ask is one time my wife was discharged at 10:00 am and it took accounting until 5:00 pm to get the bill sorted out. They wanted her to stay one more night while they "worked" on the bill and she said okay but I'm not paying for the extra night. The sorted the bill pretty quick after that.- Like x 4
