I do in Valencia on Sunday and at home here opening at 7.00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Actually I will serve you breakfast any day you like at 7.00. It is no trouble. We have a full menu for American breakfast here at the house. Potatoes, 2 eggs any style including poached, choose whole wheat or white toast, roll, biscuit or English muffin, sausage or bacon and coffee or tea, 150p. We do orange rolls, cinnamon rolls and sausage gravy and biscuits. You know our food and the breakfast is the same quality.

 

hey, just a suggestion. you might try ernie at the smoke test place, first one north of city mall on the north highway. maybe a block or two. he has always been very helpful and has managed to get my paperwork cleared on a number of issues re vehicles. at the least he will probably be able to answer your questions about this. i get my annual paperwork done there and he walks it though for me saving me the time and aggravation.

the place i have seen the most relatively new but used cars posted for sale by foreigners is the bulletin board at why not. if you do buy used you are likely to need a mechanic. after six years here i have found a great mechanic. his name is toto and he operates his business on the national highway right across from the entrance to the airport. he has a sign, "Toto" , on the highway. he is a toyota trained mechanic and very good at dx problems. the negros oriental police use him. just fyi

Uy matiao has remotely controlled garage doors. Their office is on the street between their retail store and the boulevard.
It's a roll up/down steel door double car.
They did a good job installing the door.

 

We used Wedo Trucking to move our furniture from Bantayan to Talay. A quality service... arrived bang on time... not the cheapest around but very reliable.. we recommend them.

 

I ordered a Sealion 6 a while ago, it got delivered last month, so the experience is rather limited so far.
I can say a few things about it,
1. the "pure electric" range is a bit more limited than advertised, still plenty for a couple days of mostly city traffic, but not 110 km.
2. the maximum charge speed of 7kw means that charging halfway destination is not really an option unless you're willing to wait 3 hours or so.
3. if you're any taller than me (5'10") the driver's chair won't move back far enough for your leg length.
4. driving around is really quiet, and it's a joy to charge the car battery from my solar system at home. After 500 km or so, the first gasoline tank is still all the way full.
5. the build quality is a little bit below the Volvo I was driving before, but at least on par with most other brands.
6. if it had been only up to me I would have bought a pure electric car rather than a hybrid, but my wife has a rather bad case of range anxiety, even though we would never drive further than to Cebu or Bacolod and back.

 

I have a spyder helmet from the shop on the second floor at Robinson. The Chin guard flips up to become like an open face helmet that's a nice feature when the traffic is slow. I paid about 4000 pesos.
