"There is no greatness where there is not simplicity, goodness and truth"
May peace reign once again as we remember those who gave their lives in the name of freedom.

Appointments are made with each doctor's office, each doctor's receptionist. You can call the hospital switchboard to ask for referral to a doctor with hours that day 523-5957. Some doctors split their week with Silliman Medical.

How does a thread about hospitals move to bickering about the 24 hour time format and the illiterate? I'm quite sure that people must be adults to join this forum. Can we at least act like it?

All the choice we make in life have consequences, some of them are out of our hands, the world is not and will never be fair. Health care is one of the biggest issues when you live in the Philippines IMHO. Every single person makes its own choice, I have 2 times had an accident on a bike, broken shoulder and broken hips and other injuries. Hospitals here are like Monthy python show, sir we need to inform you that we not sure you wake up again after operation lol. Me, how big is the risk? The doctor says just relax only like 50% lol. My choice to live here, of course, I want go to Cebu or Manila and have the operation, but with broken hips and heavy pain, not easy to find out how to go there. My choice to live here, need to accept the circumstances in the 3. world or stay home

Update: He is still at Silliman in the ICU with pneumonia. They don't believe his condition to be terminal at this point. His son is calling and speaking with him twice a day. I'll give more updates as they come in.

Royal Marines founded October 28th 1664 as the Duke of York and Albany's Maritime Regiment of Foot (or Admiral's Regiment) - renamed to Marines in 1672

Every November of each year I was Soldier, our Regiment had a 10 day practice up to the Remembrance Day Honor Parade! Always was proud, of what we all (and so many others) put into it. Freedom is nothing to take for granted. Salutes out to all the fallen and those that serve!

    Ironically,
Todays rememberance day in UK is seeing hopefully a peaceful protest taking place in London with regard to the Israeli - Gaza situation.
While the on going War between Ukraine- Russia has taken a back step on the news channels recently, yet people are continuing to die there too.
Remembrance of those who lost their lives during the two World Wars is respectful, but it is with prayerful hope that these present day conflicts will eventually end in the Peace that we all would like to see.......JB

Was out the other day and decided to do a walk around Ace Doctors Hospital. Nice place, clean and easy to get around. Doctors offices were mostly unstaffed, I was there between 10 and 11AM, not sure what time most clinics open.

Got back home and sent a message to ISOS, that manages Tricare here. I asked if they are a certified provider as far as hospital services and labs go. They are not.

So if you use them, don't expect any reimbursement. Some of the doctors may be certified, but nothing else.
