yes i agree... make lemonade out of lemons... this is what my wife and i do each time there is a scheduled brownout... this time we went up into the mountains near pamplona where we hiked and swam in a mountain stream and had a picnic... so scheduled 12 hour brownouts for us have become an opportunity for us to plan a road trip into the mountains where it is cool and to remind ourselves just how very blessed we are to live on this beautiful island... rather than to view it as an opportunity to drag down others (and ourselves at the same time) by complaining about it.

lol Like a little child that sees the neighbor's kid playing with a toy they have never seen before. Run off and tell mommy that they aren't sharing. I hope they don't let Globe and PLDT get their grubby little hands on the frequency. Everything they touch turns to sh*t and I'm certain they would do everything they could to overload the bandwidth to make Telstra's service worse.
And if Globe/PLDT were smart they would avoid the 700MHz frequency and go with the 2.6GHz for LTE. The money is in the bigger cities where the 2.6GHz would be superior (shorter distance but allows for a lot more bandwidth). All they are trying to do is stop Telstra from entering the market by forcing them to share the 700MHz. Though providing internet over wireless to a large number of people is idiotic on Telstra's part. If they follow the same route that Globe and PLDT have went their service will be just as crap as what is already available here in short order. This country desperately needs wired internet infrastructure.-

I think the product is a good idea and it can help a lot of people. I also like that they are manufacturing these things in the local economy and providing jobs to the same people they are wanting to hep. I would like to do something similar here in the Philippines but I just won't invest in a country that doesn't let me own all of my investment. Not going to help a country that is basically refusing help. Only thing they are interested in here are handouts, not helping themselves. (Of course there are good people in the Philippines that would like to see the hostile environment towards investors to change....but there isn't enough of them to make a difference at this point.)
I think that the product has a market value (in the US) of about half of what I donated. I believe they would sell well in camping/outdoor stores for around $30-$50 (depending on location) and still give them good bit of profit so they can basically give these things away in Africa.-

Just in case you missed it, this short video (1 minute only) showcases the ability of the James Webb telescope in a totally awesome fashion.
The video was released 2 days ago, if you can, watch it on the biggest screen you have available, preferably a large television.
Make sure to set the video quality on youtube to the highest your tv will handle, the higher the better (it's available in 4k), and be utterly amazed.
The nebula the video concentrates on is 2000 lightyears away, so the light in the final picture traveled 2000 years to reach us. In comparison, light needs just one second to travel from the moon to earth, or 8 minutes to reach us from our own sun.

- Thread: Do you have Bad Eyes?
I just came across a useful tip.
Hold down the Ctrl button and rotating the scroll button on the mouse will expand the screen making that hard to read print larger.
Maybe everyone else know this?
I could be a slow learner, no one knows for sure.-
