I just got back now.
The road was good with a few minor construction areas. My car rides low and it did not scrap on anything. There are a few potholes big enough to cook a chicken in but they are easily avoided.
There is a pay parking lot with security at the ferry terminal. As soon as you enter the main gate of the port and pay the 10 or 20 pesos fee, turn right and the security shack is about 30 meters along on the right.
If the lot is full just wait for a while. Hopefully when the next ferry arrives a parking spot might become available. If you have to wait for a spot just block the gate and follow whoever is retrieving their car to their parking spot. If you don't block the gate you could end up second in line.
COST about 30 pesos per day.

Was in bed, half-asleep; felt a sharp, short jolt. My first thought was earthquake, but then I wondered, could it be something else, something more sinister? Perhaps my pacemaker had a meltdown, but quickly ruled that out since I don’t have a pacemaker. Stroke, diabetes, Parkinson’s…? Haven’t had any of these, as far as I know. Relieved to know my first thought was correct. Approaching my mid-70’s – may all future jolts be merely a mild earthquake!

Looking back at some records on Our House maintenance costs over the Last 4/5 Years it seems that around this time of the year we get a few of these Quakes/Tremors so it will not surprise me if we are in for a few More. The Damage is slight but it is there, Small hairline cracks mainly But............
Hoping there are not too many injuries and death, my thoughts go out to those in the thick of things-

Must carry ID and a vax card BTW. Took 8 Ferry's that ranged from 800P to 1200P
Spent about 30,000 Peso and made many friends along the way. Took 3600 pictures and 120 videos on my Sony AX-53. What an adventure!-

Everywhere I have been in the Philippines has had bad traffic, no matter the size or number of people on the road. Driving is just something Asians suck at.

Just returned from a 9 day travel in a round about, Island to Island. Left Duma to Cebu, Cebu to Surigao, Surigao to Siragao, Siragao to Cagayan De Oro in Mindanao, Mindanao to Tagbilaran and back to Duma from there. Great resorts, foods, beaches, lost Lagoons, caves and exploring other sites. Had not one problem concerning anything. Cannot wait to get back to Siragao and all the beaches right on the Pacific while Island Hopping that area.

was a big rat but his size was no match for the pack. This morning's kill. With 4 dog fighting to get a piece of his a$$. Rat's life expectation went to zero in less than two minute. Big Rottweiler run Mr. Rat out from behind the water presser tank and into the jaws of Mr. Pit-Bull. Then it turned into a free for all, tug-a-war and rat lost.
That rat is so big I thought it had caught a petty cab up from Hipper Mart.
I put my #11 in there just for size reference. About a year ago Mr. Pit-Bull killed a snake about 3.5 feet long. I do not like snakes or rats. Did I mention in the other tread that my pack don't like Trespasser?-

Demolition of illegal structures at Boracay resort starts
the Duterte government is starting to implement the existing law and tears down all illegal buildings / structures in the beach areas at Boracay, Panglao in Bohol and also at Palawan - when do they start here in this area? specially in Bacong, so many seawalls that make it impossible to have a nice beach walk, so many illegal houses in the environmental protection zone directly at the beach - not to mention waste water management... it is simply annoying when the foreign expat tries to fulfill all the laws in respect to the guest country and so many people do what they want without any consequences. any opinions? is this a lawless island?-
