There are all ceramic and porcelain fused to metal crowns. The all ceramic are appropriate for frontal teeth. My dentist in Ayala Mall charges p10k for all ceramic, p2k less for the other. All inclusive. Are you sure you understood the price correctly?

Most dentists in Dumaguete use one or more of the many dental labs located in Dumaguete, not Cebu, but it is up to the particular dentist. The turn around time is very fast, usually not more than 1 or two days (not including weekends).

Porcelain crowns are usually in the 5-6,000 range, but you can pay up to 10,000 if you want one with a cubic zirconia inlay for the ghetto look - lol! Stainless steel is even less and is more suitable for a molar tooth as it won't break under pressure unlike a porcelain crown.

Chipped tooth repair (like a chipped front tooth) is even less when it can be repaired with a ceramic looking paste, but for this you want a dentist with a lot of experience as they need to be part engineer and part artist to pull of a great looking and strong repair.

Where may I have a custom tarp made in Dumaguete / Bacong? I would appreciate a recommendation. The thin blue ones I see at the hardware store would work to keep rain off I suppose but I would like something that would provide more shade. TIA.

Orange Sol, i had DENTAL BRIDGE (porcelain) cost 21,000/ for 1 missing tooth (there's a total of 3 porcelain 2 installed beside the missing piece). Done by a Dentist upper floor of Robinsons 3 years ago and i'm happy with it...i can still chew normally:smile:

About DENTAL CROWN it is cheaper(5,000) and the procedure is different.

Wife and I need a good masseuse / masseur who will come to our house (south Dumaguete) and give a good healthy 1-hr full massage to each of us; we hope to pay only 500 pesos for this. Can anyone recommend a good massager who will do this?

Masseuse, my friend who staid in Bethol guest house had a masseuse come from Massage Parlor around the corner. They were paying 300 P for 1 hour. I am not sure what the ladies name was, or if they would come the distance from you. I can find out the specific name if you are interested.

Dental fees seem to vary significantly and are negotiable here in Dumaguete. There certainly is a skin tax applied in many cases. Check the fees and define what they type of procedures and materials etc is going to be use. GET, the prices in writing, or they forget their quotes, to their advantage. when you go back in they will change the quotes if you do not have their prices on paper. I have dealt with three of the dentists here. The one is the Lee Plaza was my final choice.... the others may have been better, because that Doctor could hold his prices for the specified work, and not play price games. I hope is work is good... others have posted he did a good job here.

Does anyone know somewhere in Dumaguete to take yoga lessons? With the announced closure of the badminton courts (on the National Hwy, next to the also closing YMCA), is there somewhere in Duma to play badminton (indoor courts, not just some outside volleyball net)?

I thought there was someone on here recently that was looking for a yoga partner. I'll see if I can find the post.
