    Hi there.

I'm coming to Dumaguete in October, alone. I wish to do the Oslob whale shark trip and a day trip to Siquijor.
I got prices from 1 tour operator and as a single tourist they are so expensive.
Is there an operator that mixes people/groups together so the costs are more reasonable.
Or maybe I just picked a really expensive operator.
    Any recommendations?

It's actually cheap enough and easy to do this trip by public transport, if you go to the port at sibulan and get the fast craft (p70 each way) then get on the Ceres bus to oslob which is maybe 30 mins ride.
If you want to swim with the Sharks being a foreigner it costs p1000 after a short seminar.
I'm sure you could also find someone there to take you to the waterfalls and the boulevard is also worth a visit.

    Thanks
    Thanks DavyL200
Good advice -- they want 10 000 for the Oslob trip
I might hire a scooter while in Duma so can I take that over to Cebu island ? and forget the bus?

Not 100% sure but I have an Idea that may not be Possible. Movement of Hired Bikes I tend to think will be restricted Island to Island.
I may be wrong and am sure someone else will put us both right ( or wrong )

    JP :bag:

No probs doing that also dave, a roro ferry runs from the same port, I think around p300+ return trip with the bike. Then at least you can look around the area in your own time.

You will need be at the whale sharks early though as they stop around lunch time.
