I've never stayed in the suite. Every room I have stayed in there didn't have windows that get any sunlight....and I hate that. I put up a review section on the website. Only one comment about the food and nothing about the rooms though. Hotel Nicanor | Dumaguete Info
seems from the pics the suite has floor to ceiling wrap around windows....will comment after i check them out....thanks again....enjoy your sunday!
....wrapped in curtains. None of the rooms I've stayed in so far has had a decent view nor natural sunlight. Been there several times and experienced their Family Room, Standard Double, and Superior Rooms on different floors. Never been to their Suite with Sea View because I discovered the Hotel Essencia's Deluxe Suites which are rather expensive but well worth the views! There is an interesting façade treatment to the frontage of the Hotel Nicanor which covers those wonderful street facing windows. The view it affords you are the tiny slits between those huge boards.
[DOUBLEPOST=1443911620,1443911525][/DOUBLEPOST]ahhhhhhhhhhhh ic...thanks for the head's up...typical phils hehe....enjoy your day!
We have stayed there a few times. They do airport/ port pick up for free and it's very conveniently situated. The rooms are okay and better than most in Dumaguete. If you're looking for somewhere to put your head down for the night it's ideal.
We used to stay there before the house got built. I like / need a quiet and dark room to sleep well, so the window-less-ness was a good feature not a bug! No motorcycles & trucks heard past midnight. And we weren't in the rooms much in the daytimes anyway.... So, it depends on what you like and your habits.
