This is exactly the same SRRV that you can get when married to a ex-citizen, only $1500 on deposit, $1700 application fee for both u and yl and $10/yr. But with mil courtesy, you only need honorable discharge papers. Best deal you can get. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You have a DD Fm 214, it doesn't matter. Honorable Discharge. The only problem I had was I had an immigrant visa, these are only for non-immigrant/visitor visa holders.
I suppose the proof of monthly income would apply to the “mil” courtesy SRRV. The other courtesy SRRV is the one where ex-Filipina-o and spouse apply with only 1.5K bank deposit, $1.7K application fees, NO proof of any monthly pension/annuity/SSA check required, and I suppose must be 50. The one that we obtained was the latter. It is sometimes referred to by our SRRV consultant as the “balikbayan SRRV”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
QUICK UPDATE: As I'm finally moving to ph, I just emailed both PRA-NCR n PRA-DVO, and both confirm that my 12 month "plain vanilla" *Military Service" in Europe 55 years ago, qualifies me! My question now is how will I get a statement from Europe and get that translated, and perhaps even apostilled... More fun coming up soon.... Christian
