There have been many topics about getting an ECC at the airport - and many more answers/opinions - yes, no, maybe but I'm not gonna risk it... So... while in Manila this time I managed to video Exactly where I have got my ECC several times and give a couple pointers.
I know you mean well but I hope you do not confuse people who only read part of the post and show up at the airport without the proper plan of action. To be precise the plan works for people who arrive at the International Departure Gate, on a tourist visa, with an ACR card, registered under the ARP and who have arrived in the Philippines no less than 6 months ago and no more than 12 months ago. Anyone who is unsure what any of that means should go to the BI office and get their ECC.
I guess there is a lesson to be learned from not fully understanding the immigration laws of the country you are visiting. There is plenty to read on this forum and others about ECC requirements. No sympathy from this guy for the types that get themselves in trouble for not knowing the rules.
