    ive a freind coming from Tagbilaran who currently is havng his passport renewed. he has no other id with him. the oceanjet website says id must be presented on checkin, but I don;t recall ever having to show id to get on it before.

    anyone?

    Does he have a photocopy of his passport? I saw a foreigner do a WU transaction here with a laminated photo of his passport. I didn't know people would go for that here.

    I just rode Ocean Jet the other day from Cebu to Dumaguete with my wife & 2 kids , no one asked for any ID's

    You mean Cebu to Tagbilaran, then Tagbilaran to Dumaguete. No id’s required either way when buying the ticket or when boarding. Took that trip last week.

    The only times we get asked for ID is when out daughter is with us and asks for the Student discount when purchasing tickets

    National Bookstore can copy, reduce, laminate. I reduced and laminated my original DD214 because I lost the card you get along with the original. Good idea for I-Card too.

    IDs are often requested by hotels/resorts ... sometimes for the main guest and sometimes for everyone.

    I only ever read the two first words of a thread title .... this one's was "ID needed". :smile:

    I am not sure how other comments managed to include "printer" and "student" - perhaps they went off topic! :biggrin:
