    visa stamp?
what does the visa stamp look like, is it a sticky stamp or an inkpad stamp?

is it the page that says, ''immigration status amended from probationary to permanent.''?

    tnx...

That's right Dave and if not an the same page they will want to see your Probationary Stamp if you are now permanent, each year they seem to want more and more
Yes it is the Ink pad stamp and as I said earlier you will need Both probationary and permanent if not on the same page, luckily mine are. My Friend last week was on separate pages so he had to go and get it Copied.

Im sure they just make this nonsense as they go along here. A friend of mine was in manila to do his annual report and also renew his icard. He was in and out in 40mins. No coppies of anything,no need show or leave passport or any thing else.
I will wait until feb and get it done in manila this yr.

Did mine last week here in DGT. It was no hassle, I made all of my copies before going there, and was out in about 30 minutes. The only thing I would complain about is that they can't give you a receipt right away for some reason. You have to come back in a week to pick up the receipt and so I had to go back today to pick up my receipt. When I went in there today it was very busy, inside was packed and they were lined up in the outside hallway. But I walked up to the desk and handed her my iCard and said "I just need my receipt". She took my card and when she finished with the person she was helping, she went and found my receipt for me, so I was just there for a few minutes.

I have been watching YouTube videos of the problems that expats are having renewing visas in Thailand and staying there. Many expats are reportedly moving to the Philippines. They say Thailand is “dead” for expats. This is not just a small number of people uploading these videos. These minor Phil bureaucratic adjustments are certainly nothing compared to what those people are going through; they believe Thailand is trying to reduce their middle class expat population and the gov (the person who must not be named lol) is succeeding. One thing that struck me is that, not only do you have to show $2000 in a Thai bank; you can only take out so much at a time depending on the fraction of months left on your visa. Your landlord must register with immigration where you live; if this is missed two times they can deport you...and the landlord must do the registering, cannot be the expat.

Pato, I didn't provide any photos for my 13a annual report. I think since the BI went biometeric on the ACR-I cards they are no longer required.
