Obviously this is an opening! Maayo Shipping resumed their trips between Cebu and Dumaguete by 8 March. Maayo Shipping reminded the passengers for Cebu bound from Negros Oriental, there will be no documents needed before boarding. However, passengers/cargoes bound for for Negros, necessary documents are needed and must be presented to the Coast Guard Office in Liloan, Cebu. First trips will start at 6am daily. Minimum health protocol is still a must. Source is (RoyBuzz/HEADZ UP! NegOr News)
so I can go to Cebu but on the way back I need "necessary documents". Any information what these might be?
only cargo-carrying vehicles need to present paperwork, all other traveller types are exempt from producing travel documents
Source pls? I read a post on Fb, that a guy from Negros used Tampi-Bato, and no requirement of documents both ways. He informed that if you arrive in Sibulan they ask for relevant documents. I would like to visit Cebu but will wait for more info, I don't want to end up in quarantine after a fake covid test, things can change overnight in the Philippines, I will wait until more people can confirm no documents needed
I just returned from a day trip to Cebu departing from Sibulan and there were no document requirements whatsoever.
I’ve been at the Maayo shipping port today and asked about requirements going back and forth and the answer was “nothing”. Going to try that out soon.
Both. Spent a few days in Moalboal then stayed in Lahug but traveled all over the city shopping for stuff unavailable locally. It's weird there at night, so little traffic.
