There doesn't need to be a new thread for every meme you post. Please just add these to the "where is the funny stuff" thread that anyway exists.
Negros Oriental third district Rep. Arnie Teves has filed House bill 611 seeking to make “ghosting” an emotional offense. In an explanatory note, Teves wrote that ghosting can be exhausting to the “ghosted” person when someone cuts off communication, citing studies linking ghosting to social rejections. Ghosting, he explained, also has adverse effects on the "ghosted" person's mental health and may even affect people around him or her. Ghosting is when a person suddenly cuts off all communications with another, particularly someone he or she has had intimate relations with, without any explanation.
I do not own a cell phone and never will, so have never ghosted. On the other hand it is human nature to ignore. That is an Animal trait.
Surely he can't be serious! This bill deserves some speculation. What the h3ll happened to drive this? My first guess is someone's girlfriend got a new SIM card and can't remember their number.
I'm not trying to defend it, in fact I'm still laughing but, you left out the part about "for no apparent reason but solely to cause emotional distress". https://filipinotimes.net/latest-ne...-to-declare-ghosting-as-an-emotional-offense/ So what qualifies as an apparent reason? Would following advise my mom gave me qualify as a reason? "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." What ever the reason, if your forced to say it in court, wouldn't you then have to defend it against liable laws as well.
