Boracay is nowhere near Ibiza yet. It's not nearly as built up, and there are no big clubs, only beach bars with space for dancing on the sand, and there are only a few big-ish ones - Hey Jude, Beachcomber, Summer Place, Club Paraw and Juice Bar being the main ones.
Of course it isn't pristine and deserted, but I live down south where it's nice and quiet. One or two friendly little bars, no pounding music till the early hours. If the party scene isn't a priority, there are still laid back places to stay. Just avoid central areas of White Beach.
