whoever told you that, the person told you quite some bola.
Feb. is always a mixed month. Feb 2009 was extreme wet with some of the biggest storms ever in this area. plenty of houses destroyed and casualties.
Just looked through my files, before and around Chinese new year was never, dry weather the last 9 years with the tendency of getting better conditions from mid February.

    Pat,
I agree, I always drink raw honey with a dash of cinnamon, Similar to your mix. Just don't boil or microwave the honey that kill's it. but you can mix it in hot water below the boiling point. No guarantee but it seems to work for me.

JP you are right about different remedies.
    Mine is "Mexican Tea".
A large mug of very hot tea with a shot of blue agave tequila in it. The alternate is to down the shot first and then sip the tea slowly. It may not make you feel better, but you don't really care.

I arrived 1st time in philippines to dumgte feb 2010 and never saw any rain until may;so I thought the guy who told me "in dec rain is over" may be right...I tried buying local honey and bought 120 p rum bottle of honey and it tasted exactly like cheap sugar candy so I decided its not honey and gave it to my helper to have..I think the honey has to be local wild honey for the proper immune system build..Buying imported honey has the antigens for other places...I believe hot drink works cause the ills i get in the rain are more so when the temperature drops to 80 f + or - a few...I wish i wasnt allergic to alcohol..It was local radio show that said long rain through to may and it was visaya so my helper told me about it or i would never hear it...

Expatron - there is no rule for how many.....you just keep going until you feel better (or pass out).
Be sure the bottle says "100% blue agave". Much smoother.
    Enjoy

There are some local people selling what they call honey.
Have a pale with some bee-stuff and some "flat" bottle "honey".
You can test if this is real honey.
Just put a match in it and try to ignite it.
If honey, it will ignite and burn, if sugar water it will not ignite.

the guy did the match test for me, I even bought the matches for him,,It was the taste was just too much like carmelized sugar with only ants inside-no bees..the guy had no pale/bucket and maybe it was honey and sugar carmel blend.Or do bees that feed on sugarcane nectar make honey that taste like cooked sugar???
