Not so clean I think!

:( To-day, a very good Friend of mine wrote to me, via Face Book, Apparently a Spoof/Spam Video appeared on his home page. I did not send it, nor post it. It would seem, that he is getting some grief from his family. They accuse him of Posting it. This is bad and only echoes my earlier fears on this issue. I have Posted a "Beware Post" on Face Book, I urge, all FB members to be aware of this and just delete and report the post.

For proxy surfing, I have found Hotspot Shield by Anchor Free to be the best program I have used thus far. I don't need proxy surfing all the time, so I downloaded the installer onto a usb memory stick and just install it each time I want to use it (I install it onto the memory stick each time, too), then just pop out the memory stick when I am done. The next time I reboot, there are no little resident things leftover. This program doesn't slow down my internet connection at all, either, which I love!! It is available for download on the CNET site, also.

 

additional info... just do avoid confusion for some members not that technical "geeky"....

using proxy does not help with the problems mentioned above. things are not happening on your machine at home but on the server of your social website, where you give access to your data stored there.

Yeah, think it got off-topic...I posted that info, I think, for Kojak who had asked about proxies.............it has absolutely nothing to do with the Facebook issues.
