⌛ Hollyettes

On my recent trip to Siquijor I had the pleasure of eating in Hollyettes in San Juan.

Run by Arlette and an enormous German by the name of Holly, if you want a great place to eat as a break from Resort food this is the place.They also pick people up from the local area if you text them.

Arlette should be on a TV comedy show, her one liners whilst in conversation with her husband had me laughing so much.

The restaurant has some good photographs of Siquijor by a local expat.....but he wants 75 USD per photo, in my opinion far too expensive.

Now the food.....the best mashed potato I have ever had in the Phils in seven years! Coming from the UK I love my mashed spuds.Accompanied by a wonderful Chicken cordon bleu that could feed 3 people!

The night we went there was a local band playing who were pretty good and no worries about getting home, free transport back to the resort.

Our waitress (note Arlette the young lady with the protruding teeth) was excellent on both occasions we visited the place.

I look forward to my next visit, Great food

Anyone know how holly is doing these days, i heard he was very sick!!!
