Hi Ben,

I'v got a reasonable good result with a Smart Bro (999 php p/m plan) connection but I had to have an 100 feet pole build to get a good signal and
you will have to sign up for 1 year. If it's only for a short time, I have a USB prepaid stick (like the dongel from KPN in NL) which I am not using and willing to sell. I'v used him only one week.

We will stay in Malabago for only 4 weeks, so the USB prepaid option looks good, but do we have access in Malabago with this stick? (2km's from Timbou)

 

According to Smart is acces countrywide. It did the job in Balugo Valencia anyway in the middle of nowhere.

We like to take over your USB dongel if we have connection with it at our place. Smart can not tell me if we have any connection at our place (I gived already our GPS coordinates to them). We will arrive in Dumaguete next week. Where can we meet you?

Up here in Balugo, in the middle of nowhere, was the connection very reasonable. Okay, not the 2 MB they promise but enough to do your regular e-mailing and transmitting pictures.
