    Anyone here know much about the Iphone4 ? Just wondering , when I move there if the wife and I will be able to use them in Dumaguete. I have heard that the sim card can be removed and replaced with a Smart or Globe card and then can be used on their network . Any truth to this ? I sure hope so because these phones are wonderful . Thanks , ......Carl

    You can use any sim card as long as your iPhone is unlocked.

    you have to cut your sim card though but it is the best with retina display and facetime.....

    If you want some info (internet) on your iphone in Dumaguete you'l have to be very,very,very patient.

    I brought 2 iPhones 3G's with me. Before I left the US, I did "Blackra1n" on them. It is now legal to do so (but wasn't then). They work great. Got here, took out my ATT sim, installed a Smart sim (same size) and turned it on. Now I do not have any info in the iPhone4. Mine have 100% of the feTures it had in the US, even iTunes and the app store.
    But, to be safe, check on the 4
