 I have a funny thing happening, to the Front Disc Brake on my small Motor Bike. It seems to be seized, when the Weather is dry. The pads come on Sharply, Not Good. When it is Wet, it works perfectly. So, each morning, I pour water on to the brake unit and it works well for 3/4 hours. I have had this now, for some time and even had the unit stripped down. After 2/3 weeks, back to square one. Can anyone tell me why, this would happen? and if there is anything I can do about it? I get strange looks when people see me, pouring Water on to the Brakes.

Factory or aftermarket brake pads? Are they shimmed? It sounds like they are either expanding too much when hot, or, more likely, the caliper piston is hanging up and not releasing fully.

    I don't know.
You can try putting the bike on a central stand, put something under the stand (1 inch board will be enough) to make the wheels take off from the ground. Then spin the front wheel and see if it spins smoothly at a constant speed. If not, may be the disc is bended and needs a replacement. If it is ok, try this test in different temperatures, like early morning, noon and after a 10 minutes ride with heavy braking. but keep the experiment clean and don't put water on disc.
Your aim is to spot certain conditions, when brakes are working fine and when they do not. If the temperature changes the brakes behavior, then they just need adjustments or there are wrong brake pads or disc installed.
Fixing bikes is my hobby, I have all the tools in my garage, so I could help you in diagnosis if you want.

Well KDF,The pads are Factory Supplied (Well they are the Branded ones they use) I have had some Support on this and it seems from the manual I have just seen on Screen, it is the Piston Sticking. Thank You for the reply.
