⌛ The Sandurot Festival

At about the same time as the Charter Day, this festival also occurs every November. Also one of the biggest festivals of the city, its main event is the parade of cultural dances in the city streets. Hundreds of dancers showcase their talents in grand colorful costumes and props.

 

This Fiesta is confusing me... It starts on November 25, but there was a HUGE firework show last night for it and when we drove through Dumaguete City today most of the center of town were blocked off and people were dancing in the streets so what gives? is it just pre-fiesta

 

^^ usually, fiesta celebration here kicks-off by the start of the month (november) and ends a week after the 25th.. there are lots of activities lined up all in connection with the fiesta such as the miss dumaguete, sandurot, and more.. u can see the list of activities when u go down town. banners are hanged by the posts which are all about the fiesta activities..

 

Hello guys, for this year (2007) is the Sandurot Festival going to happened Starting November 18th? or earlier? Any website of the dates?
